ZERO STAR....In my experience, KK Dental handled my case very poorly. About four years ago, my wife went in for a routine dental cleaning. Without first confirming our insurance coverage, they performed part of a deep cleaning. When she returned for the second part of the treatment, they refused to continue, saying there was an insurance coverage issue. After we resolved the insurance issue, the office failed to resubmit the claim. Nearly two years later, we started receiving calls from a collection agency. I made multiple attempts to work with their accounts department to resolve the matter, but they were unresponsive. The office manager also did not respond to our concerns. The case has now ended up in court. I am continuing to fight the case because I believe we were treated unfairly. However, I understand that it may be difficult to win against a well-resourced legal team. This reflects my personal experience with this provider.

DO NOT GET SCAMMED STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! UNETHICAL PRACTICE! I had a procedure done at this location in 2019. Prior to getting the procedure, I spoke with the front desk staff about the payment required to ensure transparency. I paid for the procedure I received. Mind you, the issue with my tooth was still not resolved, as I continued experiencing pain. Despite this, I settled all of my bills, even confirming with the doctor that nothing more was owed. Now, to my shock, I JUST RECEIVED a collection notice SIX YEARS LATER, along with a court notice saying I owe over $900. This is not just a billing error — it’s a deceitful practice that leaves patients vulnerable and scammed. I am deeply disappointed and would give zero stars if I could. Avoid this place at all costs. I am disgusted by how they treat their patients. After reading other reviews, I discovered that many people have experienced the same issue. This confirms that this business scams people and tries to take their money. I have never experienced anything like this and am traumatized by the entire situation. I came here from the Lyons campus, front desk person very professional, spoke with doctor, had a few extractions , great place to go, friendly staff and everyone was great, since I'm a disabled veteran I would recommend KK Dental 10 times over. They were great. I see alot of negative reviews , from the confirmation of appointment to the actual appointment i didn't have any issues, I did my part of confirmation and they did there part of taking care of me with care, they were very attention to detail.

I was scheduled for a New Patient appointment with KK Dental on 1/11/25. Normally a doctor or dentist office calls a few days before to confirm scheduled appointment. I never received a confirmation call. On the day of the appointment I called the office to confirm my appointment as I headed to my appointment. Upon speaking to the office staff I was informed the Dental Hygienist I was scheduled to see canceled all of her appointments. However, I was never informed of the cancellation until the day of my appointment. The office personnel I was speaking with tried to offer me another appointment during the week. I informed the staff member that I could not make an appointment during the week as I am a teacher and the appointment times she was offering were during the hours I am teaching. When I asked if I could have another Saturday appointment the staff member stated we don’t have Saturday appointments. Keep in mind my original appointment was scheduled for a Saturday appointment. Based off this initial negative experience, I would not recommend KK Dental for dental work. As a potential new patient who had no experience with KK Dental was very negative and unprofessional. They tried to turn a $25 copay into $500 copay. The extra charge was for unnecessary treatments that aren't covered by my insurance. I told them no several times and they kept pushing saying it is their "preference" and refused to admit it was unnecessary treatment. Doing research other dentists confirmed the extra treatments they "preferred and is just practice at their office" were unnecessary. I felt stuck as they took unnecessary x-rays at that office. They used up my x-rays quota covered by insurance for the next 1-3 years and created more issues for me. From the start they kept trying to add extra treatments when I had stated several times at the appointment and when I was making the appointment that I only need “this one procedure done” and they should have gotten my records from my previous dentist as they said they would have instead of creating more unnecessary costs. Now, I have to get assigned a NEW dentist who can see me within a reasonable time of those x-rays and start all over again. I thought because they had 4 stars that they were trustworthy.
